"History is the witness that testifies to the passing of time; it illumines reality, vitalizes memory, provides guidance in daily life and brings us tidings of antiquity. Antiques are the tangibles that remind us and tie us to that history."
Here at Morning Glory Antiques, we are driven by a true love and appreciation of antiques. That love of antiques was learned from my Grandmother, whose home was always filled with the most wonderful and beautiful pieces of pottery, china and glassware. As a child, I loved to look at her china with its bright and exciting patterns, or to sit in one of her elegant, antique mahogany chairs and pretend that I was a queen. Even today, I will spy something in an antique shop - a sugar bowl, a vase, or some other bit or bob - and be instantly transported back to those childhood afternoons spent at my Grandmothers.
Our goal at Morning Glory Antiques is to carry on her love of antiques and collectibles, to teach others the beauty and value of "old things" and to share some of them with you, so that your home may be as warm, beautiful and unique.
We hope that you will come to visit us and see all the wonderful items we have waiting! Our inventory is constantly shifting and growing, so come often - begin your trip back into history, kick off memories of childhood and come away with a treasure that you and your family are sure to cherish for generations to come.
"My mom passed on her obsession of all things antique or vintage. I love to go thrift store shopping or explore any sort of garage sale. Treasure hunting is a family passion." --Zoey Deutch
